Wrap yourself in 115 acres of scenic woodlands and enjoy a fully outfitted waterfront on Clearwater Lake. Located in the central lakes area, just 60 miles northwest of the Twin Cities near Annandale, Minnesota.
The newly-renovated DeGross Center is perfect for a variety of groups of all sizes up to 299. This building meets all your needs with a modern A/V system, fireplace, kitchenette and break-out meeting space.
Also a group favorite, the camp Dining Hall includes an activity room ideal for private parties, workshops, meetings and more.
New in 2020 – Cabin Rentals Available
Over the past few months we have faced unprecedented challenges and have had to make difficult decisions. From cancelling summer camp to furloughing staff, we have all felt the weight of the COVID-19 pandemic. As restrictions are gradually being lifted and new guidance is being provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), and other local and state agencies, we are excited to share with you a new opportunity for you to get involved with True Friends.
We are now offering cabin rentals for small groups and families with up to 10 people. We are now taking reservations for August – November for our Lakeside and Rotter cabins at Camp Courage. We have also opened up cabins at Camp Friendship, including our new Trumpeter Swan and Pelican cabins. The Dormitory at Camp Eden Wood is now available for rental and is perfect for a getaway in the Twin Cities’ backyard.
Take a break and enjoy a moment of relaxation surrounded by nature and the beautiful Cedar Lake or Clearwater Lake. With miles of outdoor trails and recreational spaces, not to mention the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets over the lake, your stay will be relaxing and give you time to reconnect with your friends and loved ones.

Complete with its own meeting spaces, this 2-story building offers groups a self-contained retreat experience. Enjoy sunsets on the lakeside porch. Use the full kitchen or savor some home-cooking in our dining hall next door.

With two levels of sleeping space, there are 15 lower beds and 6 bunks.
